Fund raising from the concert

The Mosman concert raised $4,276 for the two charities we were raising money for: Cambodian’s Children’s Sanctuary and Kitgum in Uganda. Thanks to everyone who came for their contribution.

Bigger than Ben Hur

This year’s big concert is on Friday 10th December, at 8pm, at Mosman Art Gallery, with Stuart’s other choirs (Ising on the Cake and Timbre Flaws) and The Woolooware School Choir and Big Concert Band. The proceeds will go equally to two orphanages – Cambodian’s Children’s Sanctuary and Kitgum in Uganda.

Concert on 1 May

Our next concert is at 7.30 pm, on 1 May, at North Sydney Demonstration School Hall. It’s raising money for Willoughby Friends of Ossu, Timor Leste.

Also featuring Another Roadside Attraction, Three’s Company, and the Northside Sax Quartet.

Starting back on 1 February

We start back again on 1 February, 2010 at North Sydney Demonstration School. If you’re interested in joining, contact Stuart on singup AT optusnet DOT com DOT au. There are no auditions, but some musical or singing experience is preferable. We’re particularly looking for male voices (as every choir seems to be).

More than six thousand dollars!

Our concert in September raised $6,181, which we donated (3,520 pounds sterling) to Stepping Stones Nigeria. Thanks to everyone who came along to the concert and contributed to this great result.

Unaccompanied Baggage is part of a concert for Stepping Stones - a charity which works in partnership with local organisations in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria to build sustainable futures for some of the region’s many disadvantaged children. Tickets are $25, and available from Unaccompanied Baggage members.

Unaccompanied Baggage is an enthusiastic community choir

which meets on Monday nights in North Sydney under the

direction of Stuart Davis (www.stuartdavis.biz) .

We sing a wide range of music from pop classics to classical,

African gospel to ecclesiastical.

 

We are currently recruiting new male singers – tenors & basses.

Are you interested?

Do you have any previous experience of singing in a group?

 

Come along to our Open Night on the first night of the

new school term.

If you haven’t sung since High School but you sound pretty good

in the shower, here’s your big chance to exercise your tonsils.
